A is for Atheism

Atheist

    I would like to start just by first saying a few things about atheism. Dispell a few rumors and spell out a few terms. We are not all the moralless baby eaters that some would like us to be. I personally, to the surprise of some, have never eaten a baby. I haven't even taken a bite. Eating babies aside, atheists can be some of the most caring, loving and moral people on this planet.

    Time for some definitions, Atheism is to lack a belief in a diety. (A- means without, theism- means belief in a diety) Agnosticism is the belief that the existence of god is unproovable. (a- means without, gnostic means knowledge.) The reason I bring these defintions up is so I can tell you my avid readers (of which right now there are none) of my particular beliefs.

    When I look at earth, I see no proof for god. When I look at the universe, I see no proof for god. When I look at the horrors of the world, I see absolutely no proof for a benevolent god. It is true, though, that I cannot look at every atom during every second that this universe existed. In this way I am an Agnostic, but this says nothing on my beliefs on god. Agnosticism is just stating an already known fact, I do not know everything. So being that there is no really good evidence for believing in god, I choose not too believe. I treat the concept of God just like every other concept with no proof. Thats my Atheism in a nutshell.
