ACM LAN party coming up - New games this month!

Our next LAN party is Saturday, October 25th starting at 4:00pm in the Williamson Room (upstairs in Arts & Sciences).  As usual, bring your PC tower (or laptop), mouse and keyboard.  We have monitors available if you don't want to lug yours all the way to the top of A&S. 

Games this month will definately include our usual (Tribes Vengeance MP Demo and Risk II) but this month is special in that we are also going to play Starcraft!  If you have Starcraft, please bring your CD key & disk, we will have some available for those who don't have a copy. 

The student chapter of ACM here on campus upholds the ethical standing of the national ACM, meaning we only play games at our LAN parties so that we are not infringing on copyright (ACM Code of Ethics, 1.5).  Playing Starcraft at our LAN is a huge step for us, it is the first time we are asking people to provide a copy of a paid-for game.  That said, we have asked our recent attendees, and most of them have at least one (and sometimes more) copies of Starcraft, making this feat feasible.  Please come even if you don't have a copy, we have extras available.
