First General Assembly Spring 2008
Greetings, everyone, I hope the semester started well for you all. It's time to get involved again, and what better way than to check out ACM!
Our first General Assembly is this coming Monday, Jan 28. It'll be at 4pm in the Williamson Room, A&S216B.
First, of course, we'll be happy to answer any questions about ACM and ACM membership. If you have any interest in computers or technology, come by the meeting. Or, if you can't make it, feel free to e-mail us at acm@usd.edu and let us know. We'd like to hear from you!
The first main purpose of this meeting is to discuss the semester schedule. We have a schedule outlined, but it's flexible and we're interested in getting the members more involved. We'll have regular meetings at 4pm Mondays, and we have lots of ideas, but what we actually do each week is up to the members.
We'll also be picking a robot to order for our robotics project. We've been kicking around this project idea for some time now, and it's exciting to see it finally off the ground. I've picked two robot kits I like, that we can discuss, and we're happy to look at any other ideas.
Hope to see you there!
