Museums and Parks - Day Six

Friday was our last full day in Dublin.  We decided to hit up the free museums in the city and enjoy some quite time in the park.  The museums would not allow us to take pictures inside, but we did manage to get a few exterior pictures.

The Museum of Decorative Arts.  They covered art and decor in Ireland from the time of the Vikings to Irish influence in modern design.  Since the museum is housed in the old barracks, there was also a tribute to the 20th century Irish soldier.   Worth the hour walk.

On our way out of the anthropology museum, we saw this across the street.  Bram Stoker's old flat!

We were jumping up and down in front of Stoker's old flat like little girls.  We got some stares, but we were too excited to care.  What a find!

This is just to prove that Ireland and the U.K. have flowers in November.  Pretty flowers.

In St. Stephen's Green, a park at the bottom of Grafton Street, a main shopping district.

Still St. Stephen's Green.  It was a wonderful place to people watch, enjoy some fresh air, and just take in the view.

Over all, a nice way to end our visit.  We enjoyed a night at the pub later, but got back before midnight to catch to plane the next day.  Ireland was a good visit, and I can't wait to go again!
