Israeli Minister upset at the US
A high-ranking Israeli Minister says the US is ignoring the growing Iranian threat.
-
"The manner in which the Americans relate to the intelligence report on Iran is similar to the way in which they viewed those reports they received during the Holocaust on railways transporting hundreds of thousands of Jews to their death at Auschwitz," Minister Yitzhak Cohen of Shas said during a security cabinet meeting Sunday morning on the Iranian nuclear issue.
-
This is certainly interesting, especially in light of the new information about Iran's nuke program.

I thought it was quite revealing that many of the legitimate intelligence sources ganged up together to release their findings (which are usually classified and usually given to the President in confidence FIRST for review and THEN released through the White House) independently without White House consultation to reveal that IRAN is NOT an imminent NUCLEAR THREAT and that all of BUSH/CHENEY'S allegations are LIES and FALSE PROPAGANDA.
This demonstrates that:
1. The Intelligence Community has NO CONFIDENCE in the Bush/Cheney Administration to report the truth to the American people and the world and so circumvented them all together.
2. The President has become non sequitor - out of the loop - irrelevent - a non-player - impotent (my personal image of Bush at the moment is of a beet-faced little infant tyrant pounding on the table tray of his highchair, screaming and unable to get out or reach anything else to throw or break)
3. The Intel Community is still PISSED at how the NeoCons lied, distorted, obfuscated and ignored the accurate 'there are NO WMD's in Iraq' reports before the illegal invasion of Iraq and will NOT let a second illegal invasion take place.
4. Intelligent people are starting to come to their senses finally and standing up to these war-mongering White House podunks.

In the previous comment, they were "CIA thugs." Now, they're the "intelligence community."
Which are they, Douglas? Or do you just insult when it suits you?
