By that link you have posted please prove the claims that he is a racist...I thought there was integrity in this blog where statements were backed up or linked to fact, but you make claims that are not linked to fact. Sorry Matt, but let's stay away from those kind of claims or you might have to censor yourself...

My apologies, Bill- I thought everyone was aware that ol' Robert was a KKK member. Well, check the latest post for PROOF.

Robert Byrd = Not Running for President = not really relevant to the debate.
And as for the racist remark, yes he was a member of the KKK in the 50s in West Virginia. There are no excuses for it. He has repudiated his participation in the group:
"I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times ... and I don't mind apologizing over and over again. I can't erase what happened."
Its not like the GOP hasn't had a race problem for say fifty years or anything:

Oh...and John McCain...still old...still running for President.

First of all, I know.
Second of all, it DOES matter that Byrd is old. He has shown himself incapable of making intelligent decisions- heck, he votes with the Democrats!!! Ba-zinngggg!

Alright, well when Americans go to vote, let's make sure they know how old Sen. Byrd is because you are right that should have an impact on who enters the White House.
Now if you want to start talking to folks in West Virginia, go ahead but I doubt they'll kick out their favorite son.
Oh...John McCain = still old.

Old is still better than.....
-35 fabricated "years of experience"
-One of the shortest- yet second most liberal- terms in the Senate.
-Denouncing free trade with little regard for basic economic fact
-Pandering to special interest (Unions, minorities, etc) while claiming not to
-Attending services led by a racist pastor
-Supporting a health care plan that has not worked anywhere it has been tried
I'm not mathematician but I think this means...
Hillary < OLD > Obama
