happy december!

December 08, 2008 by Alexandrina Rezac

Alright, I know it's already partly done, but Happy December! Are you ready for the end of '08? Wow! Well it's coming, ready or not! I totally am! With it, 2009 will bring new opportunities! A new year = a fresh start! But before that there's Christmas! :) I'm sure Vermillion's going to be pretty dead for the break, that's always sort of an eerie feeling. This town is completely empty without the hoards of college kids!

So what are your plans for the holidays? Mine? I'm going to become a work-a-holic for a month. Ah the classic college debts, no fun at all. But I am glad for one thing...This is my first Christmas in...years that I haven't had a boyfriend to give a gift to. And you know what...It's surprisingly refreshing. I am embracing my newly found singledom and celebrating! I'm celebrating the fact that new I can hone all of my creative holiday crafting into gifts for my family and friends! It should be good.

Have you ever had the phrase "when it rains, it pours" apply in your life? To me, it's when guys choose to make 'a move' on me, it seems like it'll be forever since someone said anything, and then all of the sudden *wham* tons (ok, like 2 or 3) start paying attention! Wow, overwhelming! Haha, don't get me wrong, it's totally flattering, but still overwhelming at the same time! But like I said, I'm going to embrace being single, at least for a while. Or until I find Mr. Right. *shrugs* I'm a hopeless romantic! Who am I to turn down the possiblility!?

Until next time! Later Daze!
