Idea--Art or No?

Juggler

The juggler video was very cool! It actually took me a minute to realzie that teh juggling was doen to music, I was initially just fascinated by the juggling, once realzing that the music was incorporated,I was amazed. The time, patience, and talent it must take to master the skill is unbelievable. Until watching the video in class, I wouldn't have probably considered juggling to be a form of art. I'm not sure what I believed it to be...a skill done at circus would have probably been about it. I am obviously very nieve when it comes to art and the diversity of it.

Piss Christ

The image of "Piss Christ" was very strange to me. I have not been raised with church being a large part of my life, buti do have beliefs in Jesus, etc. Although the picture was very neat to look at (until findign out what gave it color)I dont understand how tax money can be given for something that seems to somewhat 'attack' religious belief. With this picture and others that we have seen it only becomes more and more obvious that art is more diverse than I ever imagined it to be, or than anyone can possibly define.
