The best part of the campaign season, for me, is the numerous ads that come along with it. So, to celebrate the end of the final debate, we present - The Best Ads (so far) of the 2008 Election cycle.
Best Use of Social Fears - Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi, Senate) - Buying Musgrove

Most Succinct Ad - Barack Obama (D-Illinois, President) - Joe Biden on John McCain
Best Attempt to Distance Yourself from the Republican Party - Gordon Smith (R-Oregon, Senate) - Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden
Ron Wyden has since asked Gordon Smith to Pull this ad because Wyden has endorsed Smith's opponent, Jeff Merkley.
Most Sophomoric - Jim Slattery (D-Kansas, Senate) - Hosed
Raise your hand if you thought that yellow liquid was something else.
Best Response Ad - Al Franken (D-Minnesota, Senate) - Al Franken Hates Puppies
Most Humorous - Steve Novick (D-Oregon, Senate) - A Beer With Steve
Steve Novick - The Liberal Left Hook of the Greater Northwest
Best Use of Strawman - Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky, Senate) - Senator Schumer
Man, I am definately not voting for Charles Schumer for Kentucky Senator.
Best Cinematography - Jim Martin (D-Georgia, Senate) - Saxby Economics
A Slick ad all the way around, especially at the end when Martin comes with an eraser.
Best Use of Outsider Label - Mark Begich (D-Alaska, Senate) - Car Wash
The guy at the end that looked like Ted Stevens was a nice touch.
Best User Created Ad - Flowing Graphs
Very nice all the way around. Looks professional.
Best Sentimental Ad - Ronnie Musgrove (D-Mississippi, Senate) - Our Values
But of course, he took money from gay cowboys.
